Fund a music lesson.

Every dollar goes directly to lesson scholarships, instruments, and learning materials — for students who would otherwise miss out. All donations are tax-deductible.

Gift a lesson

A single act of generosity that puts a student in front of a teacher. Gift lessons are a simple, direct way to make an immediate difference.

Sponsor a student

Sponsoring a student means funding their lessons for a full term or year. This provides stability and continuity — the student knows they have a place, and their teacher can plan a meaningful learning journey.

Make a general donation

If you would like to contribute any amount towards the Trust's work, we welcome donations of any size. General donations go into the scholarship fund and are allocated where the need is greatest.

How to donate

We will provide a tax-deductible donation receipt for all contributions. Bank account details are provided upon request.

Other ways to support

  • Donate an instrument: If you have a musical instrument in good condition that you no longer use, we can put it in the hands of a student who needs it. Contact us to arrange a drop-off.
  • Spread the word: Share our mission with your network. Many families who could benefit from scholarships don't know they exist.
  • Funding partnerships: If your organisation has a grants programme aligned with music education, youth development, or community wellbeing, we would welcome a conversation. Contact jo@weareloud.co.nz.

Where your money goes.

In Terms 1 & 2 2026, the Trust assisted 15 students with scholarships and instruments. Ten students received fully subsidised lessons, five received partial subsidies, and three received an instrument. All would have otherwise been unable to access regular music lessons.
